Meet Emalee
Emalee (she/her) has over 15 years of experience working with mission-driven organizations to create positive organizational culture, develop strategic plans, build equity-based HR infrastructure, and strengthen systems and processes. Emalee started her career in operations and curriculum development for an education-focused nonprofit in Baltimore City, but quickly realized her knack for people and process could help facilitate positive change for employees. Her various roles at nonprofits have focused on supporting teams through a key inflection point in organizational growth, one that calls for the development of people operations, talent management practices, organizational alignment, and internal communications. She's a skilled facilitator, communicator, and problem-solver, and is dedicated to helping organizations achieve their goals while supporting their employees.
Emalee received her BA in Communications from Loyola University Maryland and has a Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. When she's not working, you can find her enjoying life in Brooklyn with her partner and two cats.
